I agree. let's evolve to win7... The cracks for win7 are pretty good so it's a good time to upgrade.

considering like 99% of businesses user XP and stuff, they will need to upgrade too? and their hardware will need to be upgraded too?

2010/11 is going to be a VERY good year for computer hardware manufacturers

Most companies have a rolling replacement scheme where they're constantly updating machines annually, a third at a time.  We do still use XP here, but by the time we switch to 7 - probably at the end of the year - all of our stock will be new enough to run it anyway.

Or you could stick with XP, stick with your 512 block HDD, and save a ton of money.

I have that too, but it' mostly because my activator didn't stick and windows want me to activate.

I'm going to pay too, having a cracked operation system is something I'm not quite sure about.

I like to pay for stuff I use on a regular basis - a fair and decent trade.  However I will admit to pirating software I'll only use now and again, or trial out games.

I can eat a full month for the local price of Win 7. Or I can pay Cabletv+water+electricity+Internet+Telephone+Gasoline for a month.

I won't pay for it. I have an awesome cracked genuine version.

As long as MS Word and Chrome still works, I'm fine with that.
